We design, manufacture and install drying solutions for customers around the world, from waste-to-energy recyclers in the UK to olive oil processors in Spain. Our products are found in over 100 countries and our expertise is valued across many industries, from mining and chemical to food and pharmaceutical.

The journey starts at our unique research and innovation centre where we’ve tested over 3,000 different materials and accumulated more than 60 years of data. Here, we determine the drying system that will best meet each customer’s needs before designing a bespoke solution with a keen focus on quality, energy efficiency and cost-effectiveness.

In our extensively equipped workshop, our fabrication and assembly team manufacture a wide range of stainless steel, carbon steel, aluminium and high alloy products. They’re known for producing high quality products that can be depended on for many years to come.

Our comprehensive design service includes feasibility studies, factory and plant layouts, individual component design and reverse engineering. We also offer comprehensive service, spares and support options.

Mitchell Dryers’ industrial heritage dates back to 1768 when the Blaylock family of clockmakers established a business just north of Carlisle. Today, we have a new home at Kingmoor Park in Carlisle.
