Launched early 2018, the company grew at a steady rate capitizing on referrals from those who knew Adrian being in the security industry. His experiences and qualities begun from starting off as a 'Bouncer' in 1989 followed by ten years in the British Army where he served eight of these in Northern Ireland. Upon leaving the Forces he was brought back into the Security Industry helping friends out when required. This eventually led him to arranging the odd shift for friends that he knew who had a security licence.

In 2018, AJ-Security was formed as a result of an incident in August 2017 and the company has continued to grow steadily in line with the founders passion to protect and reassure all clients that they are in safe hands, by a company that cares for clients and employees.

In April 2022 following advice from his accountant, AJ-Security changed it's status from Sole Trader to Limited company and continued to grow in size and reputation to where it is now.

After five years being established Adrian is at the stage where he wants his company recognised for the great services provided and not just 'Kirky who looks after venues'.

The process has been a challenging time, and continues to be, but this is expected of the transition period to becoming a industry leader in Cumbria for attracting commercial & residential customers.
